Technology roadmap orchestration
A straight assessment of your technology landscape with an eye on future needs: current stack and infrastructure, optimization opportunities, and a clear modernization path that matches your business trajectory.
Enterprise-level technology leadership for the team you already have, with speed and flexibility. And when the answer is AI, a pragmatic build rather than a pilot that never ships.

Two practices, three offerings each. Each one is scoped before it starts, and I'll tell you if you don't need it.
A straight assessment of your technology landscape with an eye on future needs: current stack and infrastructure, optimization opportunities, and a clear modernization path that matches your business trajectory.
Feature prioritization, development process, and quality assurance — decided, not debated. Rapid time-to-market without giving up the scalability you'll need later.
Hands-on leadership drawn from running multiple R&D divisions: team structure, engineering culture, mentoring, and delivery that holds up week after week.
A business-driven evaluation of where AI actually pays: data infrastructure, high-impact use cases, and a roadmap you can staff. The sweet spot between potential, value and a real timeline.
Solution architecture that bridges new capability with the systems you already run. The right approach, measurable impact, and something your team can maintain after I leave.
End-to-end delivery, directly or through established partnerships with recognized AI providers. Vendor selection through deployment, with success metrics agreed up front.

I founded CR51 Solutions to give businesses and organizations a tailored, straightforward way to transform — with seasoned strategic services and cutting-edge AI.
I started coding in 1981 on a Commodore VIC-20 and have never stopped since! After a brief stint as a college math professor, I moved into software and cloud in 2000, after completing an M.Sc. in mathematics and an MBA in operational research.
Twenty-five years in, I bring a full toolkit built on best practices to help small businesses and growing technology companies turn strategy into concrete results. I’ve been the software developer, the architect, the team lead, the director and the VP — so I know which parts of a plan survive contact with a real engineering team.
I work with a small number of clients at a time, from Quebec City. If your problem isn’t one I can genuinely help with, I’ll say so.
